Shipping and Product Availability Policy
Floorscalesonline.com ships products via Motor Freight and provide a tracking number so you can track the progress of your order at any time. We ship all floor scales and accessories in stock within 24 hours of order confirmation. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday. In the event that the Monday is a holiday, the order will ship on Tuesday instead.
If any product:
- Does not work
- If the incorrect product is shipped
- If an incorrect amount of product is shipped
You are not satisfied: SATISFACTION GUARANTEE TO ALL CUSTOMERS Customer should contact Floorscalesonline.com if not satisfied with a product for any reason. Floorscalesonline.com will promptly provide an exchange or refund if the product is returned within 30 days of delivery, in its original packaging and with proof of purchase from Floorscalesonline.com.
Return it in its original packaging with all accessories in like new condition for full credit or replacement within 14 days of purchase. A restocking charge will apply if equipment is not returned in a like new condition.
Return Material Authorization
A Return Material Authorization is required for all materials being returned to FloorScalesOnline.com for credit, warranty consideration or repair. Please follow these simple steps:
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Your name
- Company name
- Bill to address
- Ship to address (if different)
- Phone number
- Type of return (warranty, repair or return).
Please also include product serial and model number on the rear of the indicator. If to be returned for credit or warranty, include the original sales order or invoice number. You can download a form here that contains the necessary information by clicking here.
Our staff will respond with an RMA number for eligible returns. Please write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the packaging to ensure fast processing of your return.
Carrier Product Damage Policy
Due to improper handling by the freight carrier, occasionally our product may arrive in a damaged condition. We make every effort to ensure that the product is packaged correctly and leaves in perfect condition.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INSPECT THE FREIGHT CAREFULLY AND, IF YOU NOTICE ANY DAMAGES OR MISSING ITEMS, MAKE A NOTATION OF THIS ON THE CARRIER’S DELIVERY DOCUMENTS. If you are not sure whether or not there is any damage or missing items, write “Condition Unknown” on the delivery documents. If you later discover damages, the freight carrier can not be held responsible, and you be responsible for paying the costs to restore the product to like new condition.
If damage is discovered AND properly documented on the carrier’s shipping receipt, contact Floorscalsonline.com immediately and keep all the original packaging material. The freight carrier’s representative will need to see this for the inspection process. We also recommend photographing the damages and packing material for additional documentation and proof of loss.
If customer refuses delivery due to excessive freight damage, FloorScalesOnline shall have the right to re-ship the identical product at no additional cost to customer, using the same or a different carrier at FloorScalesOnline’s discretion.
STANDARD PRODUCT LIMITED WARRANTY
Floorscalesonline.com (the “Company”) warrants that all products manufactured or sold by the Company for industrial use (“Products”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original shipment from the Company (the “Warranty Period”). Any Product found to be defective within the Warranty Period may be returned to the Company, freight prepaid, with prior return authorization and proof of purchase showing date of original sale. If the Product is defective in workmanship or material, the Company will, at its option, repair or replace such Product with an equivalent Product. This Standard Product Limited Warranty (the “Warranty”) is subject to the following conditions:
- Buyer must promptly notify the Company, in writing, of the nature of the claimed defect. Buyer must obtain a written return authorization prior to shipping any Product to the Company. Any Product returned to the Company without a written return authorization shall be sent back to Buyer at Buyer’s expense.
- This Warranty does not cover work done or parts installed by any person or entity other than the Company.
- The Buyer is responsible for shipping the Product to the Company, freight pre-paid. If the Company determines that this Warranty applies and performs warranty work or replaces the Product, then Company shall be responsible for shipping the Product back to the Buyer, freight pre-paid. Any shipment costs other than standard ground or dock to dock delivery within the contiguous United States will be Buyer’s responsibility.
- Company is not responsible for any defects caused by any factor beyond Company’s control including, by way of example, but not limited to, accident, misuse, power surge, lightning strike, negligent handling, improper installation, improper repair, improper testing, vandalism or sabotage. The determination of the cause of a defect or damage to a Product shall be made solely by the Company.
- Any Product that has been modified or altered by any person or entity other than the Company or repaired by any person or entity other than Company or an authorized distributor shall not be covered by this Warranty.
- Batteries are covered by this Warranty only for the first ninety (90) days of the Warranty Period. Any component of a Product that was manufactured by another party and is covered by a separate warranty is not covered by this Warranty.
- Company shall have a reasonable amount of time to repair or replace any Product covered by this Warranty.
- Any defects or damage directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from the use of unauthorized replacement parts or components in the Product are not covered by this Warranty.
- The decision as to whether a Product covered by the Warranty shall be repaired or replaced shall be made solely by the Company.
All warranty work by the Company or an authorized distributor shall be performed during normal business hours, on week days, excluding federal holidays.
Company’s liability under this Warranty is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the Product covered by this Warranty. Company will not be liable for consequential or indirect damages, including but not limited to, loss of business or profits. Company will not be liable for damages to the Product, other equipment or personal property, or personal injury or death caused by or resulting from a defect covered by this Warranty or caused by or resulting from misuse, overload, accident, alteration, improper installation or unauthorized opening of the Product. Company will not be liable for any loss or consequential damages caused by or resulting from any errors or deficiencies in the functioning or performance of the Product. In no event will the Company’s aggregate liability under this Warranty exceed the total price paid by the Buyer for any Product determined to be defective.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES THE COMPANY’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
